It's been an exciting time here at North Uist Distillery as we've been working to take Downpour international. Our prince of project management Ali has been globetrotting, from Italy to Germany, via France, representing Downpour and serving up a blast of island flavour at some of the continent's best drinks trade shows and festivals.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Ali, our excellent expert exporter, and the team back home who have been busy distilling, bottling and packaging up pallets for our far flung friends, Downpour is now available in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and British Columbia. While Ali takes Europe by storm, gin ambassador and visitor centre virtuoso Hazel is heading even further afield, making it rain in the Middle East at The Big Taste show. As Dubai gets ready to host Cop28 at the end of the month, the city is focused on sustainability and our recent B Corp certification gave us the honour of being selected to be a part of this prestigious global event.
