2023 has been an incredible year for us here at North Uist Distillery, filled with fantastic achievements, both big and small! From launching a new bottle to expanding our team, we have a lot to celebrate. The number of bottles of Downpour filled by hand at our distillery home here in the Outer Hebrides. Crafted with the finest, local, hand gathered and bartered botanicals and distilled with passion, Downpour continues to Make It Rain with gin enthusiasts the world over.

Visitors to our island home at Nunton Steadings in Benbecula. Our visitor centre, shop and Island Life Bar have been serving up ice cold G&Ts (1035) custom cocktails (557 of them), and tantalising tastings (582) to thirsty gin fans with a warm island welcome at our historic home in the beautiful Outer Hebrides.

Awards won. Including the title of Scottish Gin Distillery of the year for a second year running! Other awards have included Spirit of the Year, Old Tom Gin of the Year, New Product of the Year, among lots of glittering others. It's always an honour to win an award, and fantastic to be recognised by the industry for the hard work of the team and the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of Downpour gin!

B Corp Certification. North Uist Distillery has always been committed to sustainability. This year, we took another step towards our goal for a greener future and were recognised with a B Corp Certification, for our efforts in environmental and social sustainability.
